He was speaking at a function at the Krishibid Institute auditorium at Khamarbari in the capital on Sunday (January 10th). Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) organized the inauguration ceremony and discussion meeting of ‘Sabar Dhaka’ app on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Homecoming Day.
Speaking as the chief guest at the meeting, Tajul Islam said Bangladesh has become a role model under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina since the Awami League came to power. Bangladesh is now moving towards a developed country in all fields of education, health, economy. The target has been set to become a developed country in 2041. In order to implement this goal, multi-faceted activities have been initiated.
Speaking as the special guest at the meeting, State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said, “Sabar Dhaka” is a wonderful application, it is a dynamic application. Through that application you can send any complaint related to citizen service to City Corporation. The area from which you sent the problem after sending it, from where you sent the picture, but the location is tracked on Google Map, pinpointed, the officials of the city corporation will go there and solve the problem.
Also present at the meeting were DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam, Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League President Sheikh Bazlur Rahman, General Secretary SM Mannan Kochi, Jahangirnagar University Professor Akhtar Mahmud, DNCC Chief Executive Officer Md.
