Lieutenant Colonel Ashiq Billah, director of the media wing of the RAB, urged everyone to observe the Thirty First Night from their homes in the Corona situation.
He made the remarks at a press conference at the Uttara RAB headquarters on Sunday (December 27).
Ashiq Billah said there will be several levels of security across the country, including the capital, on the occasion of the Thirty First Night. In order to prevent any untoward incident, the RAB’s intelligence surveillance will start in advance. Attempts to create any kind of chaos will be severely suppressed.
He said there were no attacks or threats centered on the Thirty First Night. Even then, I will think of everything and ensure three levels of security in the capital. RAB will play a more active role, especially in places where people gather more at night. Checkposts will be set up at important places.
Recalling Corona, the RAB official said, “It is better to do it from one’s own position without holding a public meeting on Thirty First Night. In that case, the virus will be much easier to prevent infection. At the same time can be protected from infection.
