The friendly relations between Bangladesh and India are blood ties. Vikram Doraiswamy, the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, commented that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman initiated today’s good relations.
He told reporters after visiting the Awami League’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Wednesday (December 23rd) morning.
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader welcomed him during his visit to the central office.
Later, Doraiswamy exchanged views with the central leaders of the Awami League and also discussed bilateral issues between the two countries.
Doraiswamy said, “The friendly relations between Bangladesh and India are blood ties. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman started this good relationship today. Following this, the relations between the two countries have become stronger which will be further strengthened in the future. He reminded the Awami League leaders killed in Corona that when the Indian government gets the corona vaccine, it will help Bangladesh to get it too.
Obaidul Quader said, “Bangladesh and India are bound by blood. There is a common vision against terrorism and militancy on the border. No one will be allowed to use soil in Bengal at the border. ‘
