He made the remarks at a briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday (December 15th) on the latest status of talks with scholars.

The minister said, “They will not make any movement. They want to end the five demands including Bangabandhu sculpture through talks. We think a beautiful environment has been created. They have agreed with us that no one should vandalize or disturb law and order. The Alem community will work together to ensure that there is no chaotic situation through Facebook or in any way. He told us to be vigilant to stop the propaganda of Facebook. ‘

Highlighting the issue of talks with Qaumi scholars on Monday night, he said, “The talks have come a long way. Since we have started the discussion, we will get a fruitful result soon. The five proposals they have made will be discussed.

‘We will not hurt religious feelings. The government never believes in kneeling principles. We will not do anything outside the constitution. ‘

The Home Minister further said, “They want to meet the Prime Minister regarding these demands. Their proposal will be given to the Prime Minister. He will discuss the issue in general, on a large scale. Only then will a decision be made on these matters. ‘
