The government has issued a notice making it compulsory to wear masks in various places of worship including mosques, temples and churches. This notice was given in a notification sent from the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Sunday (November 8).

It is said that the Ministry has issued notices at various times imposing the obligation to wear masks in religious places of worship along with other measures to prevent the transmission of Kovid-19.

Lately, it is being noticed with deep concern that the use of masks is being relaxed all over the country, especially in mosques, temples, churches and other religious notice.

The government has instructed to ensure the wearing of masks in all cases, including religious institutions, in the possible second wave. In this situation, new notice have been issued in continuation of the previous notice.

The directive says that all worshipers in the mosque must wear masks. Every time before the prayers, the mike of the mosque must run a campaign on this issue. Banners should be displayed at the gates of the mosque in this regard. The mosque committee will confirm the issues.

Followers of other religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity, must enter the shrine wearing masks. The matter will be confirmed by the concerned worship committee by displaying a banner at the main gate.

It also said that there should be a massive public awareness campaign on ‘No Mask No Service’. The slogan should be displayed in all open spaces and posters / digital displays in government and non-government organizations.

You have to follow the hygiene rules issued by the health department including washing your hands with soapy water for a while and follow social distance.

Officials of the local administration, Islamic Foundation, Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust and Christian Religious Welfare Trust and the management committee of the respective mosques and places of worship are requested to regularly disseminate the above declarations from all the mosques and other religious places of the country. Has been notified.
