Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has blamed the BNP’s ‘sub-strategy’ for the low voter turnout in the elections. He said the election shows the BNP’s intentional inaction. They create a situation where their voters do not come to the center. The BNP’s sub-strategy is responsible for the low voter turnout. Obaidul Quader said this at a regular briefing at his official residence on Thursday morning
He said that the people are realizing the tactics they have taken to break the next journey by cutting their noses to question the electoral system as soon as they realize the collapse of the election by various tactics. Regarding the allegation of BNP leaders that there is no electoral environment in the country, Obaidul Quader said, “In their time, elections meant conflict and loss of life.” There have been numerous incidents of loss of life in the local elections. The minister said there is no electoral conflict anywhere in the country now.
The general secretary of the Awami League said that the party president Sheikh Hasina has directed to resolve any grievances and objections regarding the committee announced by the allied organizations within the legal framework as per the party constitution. Obaidul Quader said that if there is any grievance of the committee, there is a system to get redressal under the constitution of the organization. The tribunal will examine and sort out the complaint.
The general secretary of the Awami League said that district and metropolitan committees will be announced all over the country soon.
